Nick Spinelli
Nick is the Executive Director of the Lake Wallenpaupack Watershed Management District. He oversees the District's lake monitoring program, provides educational programming to the public, and leads implementation of the Lake Wallenpaupack Watershed Management Plan. Nick graduated from Penn State University in 2007 with a B.S. in Recreation, Park and Tourism Management. His resource management career began on the Upper Delaware River with the National Park Service in 2006. In 2008 he began working at the Pike County Conservation District as a Watershed Specialist and in August 2010 transitioned to his current position with LWWMD. Outside of work, Nick's interests include natural history, cultural heritage, and paddling the Upper Delaware River. He is a member of the Tafton Dive Team and enjoys studying Lake Wallenpaupack from both sides of the epilimnion.
