The Pennsylvania Lake Management Society will be hosting an Aquatic Invasive Species Identification and Management Workshop at Wayne County Conservation District
February 8th, 2025
Time: 9:30 am- 12:30 pm, registration begins at 9:15 am

This workshop will cover:
-Pond & lake ecology and the importance of aquatic plants with a focus on a balanced ecosystem.
-The top aquatic invasive plant species that are a threat to Pennsylvania’s waters and how to identify them. (Participants will be able to work hands on to identify real samples).
-Control of invasive aquatic plants including but not limited to hand and mechanical harvesting, benthic barriers, triploid grass carp, and aquatic pesticides.
